Treecreepers Toddler Group
What is Treecreepers?
Treecreepers is an outdoor toddler group aimed at children aged 1-4 years, with their parents and carers. It takes place most Thursday mornings in term time.
During each session, there is the opportunity to sing songs, read stories, and enjoy free play in the woods. Each week there is also a suggested activity on a different theme, that can be adapted for younger or older children. A healthy snack is provided.
Each session takes place in Dragon Wood, part of Birdwood Coppice. This is a beautiful ancient wood just off the A40, behind the Kings Head in Birdwood. There are trees to climb, places to explore, cool shade in summer, and carpets of flowers in spring. Car parking is available at the entrance to the wood, and then it’s a 15-20 minute walk (at toddler pace) to the Treecreepers site. We always have a walk-in activity to keep everyone motivated for the walk, and a trolley to transport bags (and occasionally tired toddlers).

Lovely morning activity to interact and bond with your child or grandchild

Easter Holiday Sessions

This Easter, we will be running sessions on Wednesday 16th April, Thursday 17th April, Tuesday 22nd April and Thursday 24th April.
These sessions are still aimed at 1-4 year olds, but for the Easter holidays, older siblings in Reception, Year One, and Year Two are welcome to join us. As always, younger siblings are very welcome too.
Sibling discounts apply as usual, and multi-passes for three sessions are available. These will remain valid for future sessions in term time and holidays. Multi-passes previously purchased are also valid for these sessions.
